We always say that the best thing about Genie Goals is the people. And we reckon this one proves our point.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ve been listed 4th of 100 in the UK's Best Workplaces for Development™ 2026 list by Great Place to Work UK.

The Development list specifically recognises companies where learning and growth aren’t just perks on a career page - they’re genuinely engrained into the culture. To make the list, Great Place to Work UK reviewed how we approach employee development in practice: our benefits, our leadership, our policies, and crucially, the anonymous feedback of our team on whether any of it actually lands. It’s not enough to just have the right initiatives, they have to mean something to the people inside the business. Every person at Genie is at a different stage of their career, with different goals and ambitions, and our job is to support all of them.

Emily Long, CEO of Genie Goals, said:

I'm really proud to be featured in the Best Places to Work for Development for another year. Operating in such a dynamic world means that developing our people is fundamental in exceeding clients' expectations and keeping our finger on the pulse of our industry which is evolving at a lightning pace. We try to get the right balance of supported autonomy when it comes to learning and development and more structured processes and ways of working to share our 'collective wisdom' across the team. Developing and growing our team as individuals has always been at the centre of Genie and continues to be in this ever changing environment.

Earlier this year, we were placed 14th in the UK’s Best Workplaces 2026 overall list, jumping a staggering 30 places since our last ranking. We’ve also featured on the 2025 lists for Great Place To Work for Wellbeing, Women, and Advertising, Media & Marketing.

A huge thank you to our team for being so honest in their feedback, and for making Genie the kind of place where this kind of recognition is possible in the first place.
