Marketing doesn’t have a reputation for being a ‘gentle’ place to work. Tight deadlines, endless reports, a rapidly changing landscape, and new AI tech which appears quicker than you can say ‘ChatGPT’.

So being named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Advertising, Media, & Marketing by Great Place to Work for the third year in a row, means a lot. Especially when you’re being measured against other agencies and brands who know the pressure of keeping up in this modern marketing environment.

Great Place to Work UK runs its research-backed Trust Index employee survey and analyses the responses of UK-based employees working in the sector. The answers are anonymous, so it comes down to how our people really feel about working at a place like Genie Goals.

Across the awards we’ve won with Great Place to Work (and - humble brag moment - it’s a few!), the one thing we’re always most proud of is exactly that fact; the awards are won because of how our people feel about working for us. Plenty of agencies can talk about culture in a pitch, but far fewer can point to their own team backing it up.

It’s been a bumper year for the trophy cabinet. Earlier in 2026, we were placed 14th in the UK’s Best (Small) Workplaces, a climb of 30 places since 2025. And not to mention the other awards we’ve been so grateful to receive from GPTW, including the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women, Wellbeing, and Development.

We’re entering peak season on a high, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2026 has to hold for both Genie Goals and our clients alike.
