Ranking once in the UK's Best Workplaces for Women could just be a moment in time. Making it multiple times says we're building something real and lasting.
We're so proud to have been named among the top 22 of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women, marking our 5th year ranking in this category. Although a shame we still need awards like this to recognise workplace equality between men and women, that doesn't make it matter any less when we get one.
Great Place To Work compiles the ranking by gathering anonymous responses from women across the business, captured through weekly surveys. They look at how people experience innovation day to day, whether the company's stated values match the reality of working there, and whether leadership is actually effective or just good on paper. All of that gets benchmarked against what the business promises versus what its people actually live through. Only the organisations that come out strongest on every measure make the cut. Plenty of companies can write that they have nice values. Far fewer can prove, through their own people's honest feedback, that those values hold up.
For us, this recognition sits on top of something we've been building deliberately for a long time. Removing the barriers that slow women's career progression. Making sure the balance across the business, not just at entry level but at every stage, actually reflects the world we want to work in. Building a culture where everyone, regardless of gender, gets the same shot at growing, leading, and being heard.
We're proud to be led by a female CEO, Emily Long, who stands as one of relatively few women running a performance marketing agency. Alongside her sits an equally gender-split senior leadership team, and together they push for the best outcomes for every individual on the Genie Goals team.
This is our fourth award from Great Place To Work in the past six months. Earlier this year, we were also placed 14th among the top 100 in the UK's Best (Small) Workplaces, a jump of 30 places since 2025.
